Go-Wise recordings was founded in 2005. It is an independent record label based in Liverpool, specialising in British HipHop, SKA and Reggae. Its artists represent a contemporary and english slant on these forms of music.
It is the labels intention to celebrate innovative music that can be a zeitgeist to these times, by promoting music that is a honest reflection of life in Britain. Its debut release was in early 2006, with the release of Philly Whizz's 'Up The Wizards sleeve' LP.
This received rave reveiws, national press and radio-play. The release was followed up by a number of mix C.D.s from D.Js Rasp and LSG. Which were later followed by the debut E.P release from SKA/indie group The Amnesiacs. In 2007 the label has continued to release's quality music, this time in the form of Random Era's E.P/L.P 'The Searching Years'.
Watch out for future release's from Go-Wise including a full length album from The Amnesiacs and fresh material from new signings Ashleigh Nugent, Que C and The LoveRAT?.
